The General Secretary of ASCABUS has received an award from CONFEBUS in recognition of his work in the passenger transport sector.
His constant contribution to the improvement of the sector, from the point of view of vehicle construction, throughout his professional career has earned Agustín Gómez an award. The Spanish Bus Transport Confederation has valued the more than 30 years that the current general secretary of ASCABUS (National Association of Bus Body Manufacturers), to which Integralia belongs, has dedicated to the passenger transport sector, improving the relationship between the different companies from the institutions and facilitating the interpretation of the legal issues of the regulations.
“For Integralia, the award to Agustín has been a great joy”, says Efrén Rodriguez, Sales Manager of the brand in Spain. “His professionalism, approachability and predisposition make him worthy of this award”, he confirms. “He has made our work easier on many occasions in terms of rules and regulations. We are very grateful for his help and very happy that he has been chosen,” concludes Rodríguez.
Agustín Gómez has been General Secretary of ASCABUS since 2014 and has been responsible for the Homologations Department at Grupo Castrosua for more than 30 years. In addition, he holds positions in Public Administration bodies and entities in which he participates in an advisory or consultative capacity. He is an advisor to the National Land Transport Council of the Ministry of Transport and a member of the Organising Committee of the FIAA. Throughout his professional career, he has contributed to the improvement of the sector from the point of view of vehicle construction. A Galician from the province of Orense, Agustín Gómez Pereira studied Industrial Mechanical Engineering and soon began working in the transport sector.

In this fifth edition of the CONFEBUS Awards, Josefa Pérez, at the head of Autocares Carcelen, and Salvador Servera, manager of the Balearic Transport Business Federation, were also recognised for their great professional careers for their constant contribution to improving the sector from the point of view of vehicle construction.
