How is a minibus made?

Integralia creates vehicles for passenger transport with a firm commitment to quality, durability and efficiency.

Integralia occupies an area of 3,650 square metres where the safest, most technological and sustainable minibuses on the market are designed, prototyped and created.

The magic begins in the structure area, where the skeleton of the bodywork is manufactured and assembled, i.e. what is going to be the support of the vehicle is designed.

Among the tasks carried out by Integralia’s professionals in this area is the welding of the parts that make up the basic bodywork.

Once the skeleton is finished, what we call the wedding takes place, the phase in which the body and chassis come together to create the most important couple of the vehicle. Ready!

The next phase will be to incorporate carbon fibre and glass panels (roof, sides, rear) and customised paint in the corporate colour of each customer. In a natural gas paint booth measuring 5 metres wide by 10 metres high, the minibus will be coloured. Here it is very important to avoid possible dust motes that may be in the environment, so Integralia has a powerful suction pump so that no residue comes into contact with the paint. In any case, this is not the only area where cleanliness must be kept under control; the Navarrese company has a centralised waste vacuum system in many of its vehicle manufacturing processes.

From this painting area, the minibus drives to a drying area, where the car must remain isolated for at least three hours.

At the next stop, we work on the electrical components. Those responsible for starting up all the electrical connections, such as the air conditioning and the IBBC (Integralia Bus Board Control) located on the dashboard, which will allow the driver to control the lighting, air conditioning, service door, etc., enter the vehicle interior.

A large storage area is essential in this entire production line, which is used to feed all the materials required for the production of the minibuses to other production areas. A smart cupboard provides the operators with a portfolio of parts in case of need.

Within the warehouse area there is a machining area, where Integralia manufactures exclusive elements (made-to-measure floors, partitions, etc.). These components form part of the vehicle and provide the personalisation and attention to detail that all of the Navarrese company’s customers like so much.

Finally, all that remains to be done is to fit the vehicle’s exterior components. In the last area, known as the finishing area, each of the experts from the Integralia team installs: windows, mouldings, air conditioning covers, doors or aerials. In addition, the aesthetic components of the vehicle’s interior, which vary depending on the customisation sought by the customer, must be put in place: flooring, luggage racks, curtains, tft (internal screens), usb or, among many other options, tables. Finally, the seats are mounted and voilà, ready.

In little more than three paragraphs we have your minibus ready.
