The mobility company has signed a sponsorship agreement with the Navarre club to promote grassroots sport.
Integralia has become the sponsor of the handball section of Lagunak, a sports club in the Navarrese town of Barañáin. Nicolás Subirán, the club’s head of handball, and Óscar Lana, Integralia’s manager, signed an agreement with which the mobility company aims to promote the values it defends in the world of business through educational sport.
The Lagunak shirts will carry the Integralia logo from this season onwards, which makes the minibus manufacturer proud. “Sponsoring grassroots sport is a way of giving back to society part of what it has given us”, says Óscar Lana. “We want to support those who work every day to develop the teams and who defend the values with which we identify”, concludes the Integralia manager.
Sponsorships beyond football
Sports sponsorship of alternative sports to football is an important factor for the agreement. Integralia is convinced that private collaboration is important so that sports such as handball can continue to train young people in the values of effort, struggle and perseverance. Sport is a vehicle for social integration, children learn to relate to each other as equals and to work to make a team work.
The sponsorship agreement ensures that the Lagunak Handball section receives vital support to continue operating, while Integralia reaffirms its commitment to the community and its values. “For us, this agreement is not only a financial relief; it is a recognition of all those who are part of this club and a boost to continue fighting for our goals”, celebrates Nicolás Subirán, head of the sports section.
The Integralia team and the Lagunak team will celebrate all the sporting successes of the club’s teams. However, the most important thing is the personal training that all the participants who play handball in the sports section will be able to have.
