Integralia will increase its turnover by 56% thanks to the reactivation of production

The company from Navarre plans to increase its team by 40% with different professional profiles.

When the worst of the pandemic seemed to be over and consumption began to recover strongly, the recovery was weighed down by the crisis affecting world trade. All eyes were focused on a series of factors that fed back on each other at a key moment for the incipient exit from the economic crisis caused by the coronavirus. To make matters worse, there was a shortage of raw materials, energy prices soared and so did maritime transport prices. In sectors such as construction and road transport, there was a shortage of labour. But how did we get to these circumstances?

At a moment of change in international relations, the pandemic broke out and turned the world upside down. Roughly speaking, factories came to a screeching halt and, when they started up again, they failed to do so at the same pace as demand recovered. Restrictions due to contagions and measures to prevent the spread of the coronavirus continued to keep them at half throttle, while orders continued to pile up.

This context, which was unfamiliar to the market, forced Integralia to face a restructuring of ways of working in which all departments of the company were involved. On a day-to-day basis, it became a constant, for example, to follow up on material delays. What was happening? Customers were not receiving their vehicles on time.

Good expectations for the second half of the year

Integralia has been able to take advantage of this international situation to analyse and then improve its work processes. “We are producing one minibus per day, a capacity that was unthinkable a few months ago, when we only produced half a vehicle per day”, says Óscar Lana, CEO of Integralia. “Thanks to the patience of our customers and the ability of the whole team to adapt, we have been able to hold our own during these three dark years. We have adapted to the different changes in perspective that we have undergone and we have taken the right decisions to, little by little, lay the foundations for what we are seeing on the horizon”, says the head of the company.

This recent scenario in which Integralia is operating has changed all perspectives: “This long-awaited reality is going to allow us, in a short period of time, to place ourselves in a leading position, by growing in sales and market share, an objective that is not very valuable at the end of 2022. Right now we are incorporating different professional profiles to the team, so we expect to increase the staff by 40%. Undoubtedly, we are talking about the result of hard work in which we have carried out in-depth management work, which is going to allow us to grow our production capacity and, therefore, increase our turnover by 56%”, concludes Lana.

Specifically, the vehicles that Integralia is currently manufacturing the most are T-ONE and ONE with a very complete range of equipment. Above all, they are minibuses with equipment geared towards passenger entertainment and comfort, which is why they have multimedia equipment, USB connection in each of the vehicle’s seats or, among other details, reclining seats with cutting-edge technical fabric in the sector.
