Mieres Town Council trusts in Integralia for its urban transport network

The council of the Asturian municipality has purchased two T-ONE XL from the Pamplona-based coachbuilder through a public tender.

Mieres, Turón, Figaredo, Ujo and Rioturbio are the main towns in terms of population that make up the municipality of Mieres. What was once one of the most important mining centres in Spain has a surface area of 146.03 km² and the Town Council has placed its trust in Integralia to connect all these distances that separate the residents of the council.

Through a public tender, the council of the Asturian locality has acquired two T-ONE XL. One vehicle is for urban use and the other for intercity services. The two minibuses mount their bodies on the engine of a Mercedes Sprinter 519 CDI, with 190 hp, 3,000 cc and have an automatic transmission system. In addition, both vehicles are equipped with the management system developed by Integralia IBBC, which reduces the attention needed to control the vehicle’s settings and facilitates after-sales service.

The T-ONE XL acquired by Mieres City Council have 22 seats plus driver, LED lighting system, air conditioning and seats with antibacterial upholstery, which prevents the spread of diseases such as the coronavirus. In addition to being extremely resistant, this fabric does not retain dust or particles, is very easy to clean, is very comfortable to the touch and, of course, is synonymous of high durability.

The company from Navarre obtained the best score in the public tender thanks to differential characteristics such as the guarantee of the bodywork or the chassis.

The two vehicles are already on the road in Mieres transporting passengers. If you visit this mining basin, you can pass them on the road, or even better: you can enjoy them from the inside.
