The company based in the French Hautes-Alpes relies on Integralia to expand its fleet of vehicles.
Resalp has added nine new minibuses to its fleet with Integralia, including four city buses, to transport the local resident population as well as high-mountain sportsmen and winter tourists in the Briançon area.
The company located in the French Hautes Alpes has entrusted Integralia with this important expansion of its fleet of minibuses, which represents an important commitment to customer service in an area of particularly complex orography.
Davos is the highest city in Europe at 1,560 metres above sea level. The Swiss city is the only one on the Old Continent higher than Briançon, where they live at 1,350 metres above sea level. France’s highest town is also a strategic point in the Hautes-Alpes department in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region. It is very close to the Italian border and is strategically located between the important centres of Turin, Grenoble and southern Provence. In winter, Briançon becomes a privileged destination for skiing enthusiasts, with its ski area integrated in the famous Serre Chevalier ski resort.
Resalp, a transport company that has placed its trust in Integralia for the first time, has its headquarters in this excellent location. However, its trust has been in a big way, having acquired a total of nine T-ONE minibuses for different mobility solutions in the urban and school environment of Briançon through 3 school minibuses and two minibuses equipped with PRM electric ramp access as well as four urban T-Ones with low floor access equipped above all for the purpose of transporting sportspeople in the high mountains, in winter for those who go skiing and in summer for those who
practice high mountain sports such as rafting, as well as providing the corresponding mobility solutions for the population living in and around Briançon throughout the year.
In this addition, the French company wanted to equip six of the new vehicles with PRM access ramps, two of which (the line type vehicles) are equipped with rear electric ramps for wheelchair access and people with reduced mobility. In addition, the nine new minibuses are equipped with electric brakes for greater driving safety in the mountain environment.
Two of these new vehicles are also equipped with tow hooks, which are necessary for transporting both bicycles and skis. This is undoubtedly one of the essential needs for this company, which, as its slogan says, is an expert in high-altitude mobility, which means, among other things, a very important dependence on weather conditions, whether in hot summer seasons or in the middle of the harshest alpine winter. In addition to transporting athletes, Resalp also offers regular, seasonal and school transport services with its large fleet of vehicles.
